Rookbeare sorbets and ice creams are artisan products.

The premises are more like a large kitchen than a factory and everything is done in batches. There is no industrial continuous production. Roads in mid Devon are not suited to large lorries and power is limited as we are at the end of the electricity line.

And the accountant is not allowed anywhere near the kitchen.
